Here are some images that i have chosen to relate to how i think i am goin to aproach the  to A FAMILIAR PLACE THAT IS SIGNIFICANT OR IMPORTANT TO YOU. When looking at these images i would like to use them in relation to my own work to do with the composition. each one of these photographs that i have chosen have (to me) a sence of somthing that used to be, a place that used to be, the kind of place we used to take for guranted when looking back at t he memories it brings.
Below is an photography by Susan Lipp.

Below are three photographs by Walker Eavens I have chosen these photographs because they have given me the idea of a place that displays the story narrative. A place what maybe the audience could relate to aswell as the photographer. a place which could be quite familiar or remind someone of a important or  significant place where they spent allot of time, at some point in their life. This is what was brought to mind when i looked at these pictures and i would like to achive the same influence with the important and significant places that i am going to photograph.

This photograph by William Eggleston I have chosen because it looks like a scene from my back garden from around the early 90s and where i used to live. The garden furniture and the state of the garden fits the scene in my imagination perfectly. Which leeds on to some ideas for A Familiar place that is significant or important to you. I have alot of good memories from where i used to live when i was younger and am thinking visiting the place i used to live and explore some of the places i used to go which in my memories from there where places i could escape to. This part i am looking forward to bcause i havn't visited this place for 11 years, it will be interestin to see how it has changed or not changed.

I particulaly like this photography by Lewis Baltz because to me when i look at it it reminds me of places i used 'hang around' when i was a teenager and where i used to spend alot of youthfull memories outside. In a way when i look at this photograph i can almost see goastly figures of a scene from my own life. For the significant and important places breif i would be looking at magic hour lighting or the natural lighting around that time. Around this time of year spring/summer the lighting around this time reminds me alot of youthfull memories and places i had those memories. I think that there is many people who can relate to this. I could also bring in the connection of social issues in britain that I am trying to relate all my work to.

Another idea i have come across after re visting the book by Sophie Callie APPOINTMENT with Sigmund Freud, is to try to create the same approach, but indoors aswell as out doors, that bring back sertain memories that are significant or important to me. Here are a few examples from the book that demnenstrate what i am tring to achive, but a more personal view in places that are familiar to me.
